Happy Hallowe'en: Jar of Haunts, Ghoulish Grunge & Mr. Funny Bones

Hello stampers!

Happy Hallowe'en!! My favourite day of the year. I thought I'd share some cards to celebrate this spooky occasion. I used a few of the Halloween themed stamp sets from the 2016 Holiday Catalogue. First, I pulled out the {Jar of Haunts} stamp set. I decided to go with the spooky eyes and stamped randomly over the entire background piece of watercolour paper. I added Delightful Dijon, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red to the eyes with some Soft Suede for the background. I love it, the eyes look so sinister.

My next card is featuring {Mr. Funny Bones}. It is so fun to get to create your own skeleton with this set. Since today is my Anniversary, I thought the sentiment You stole my heart was appropriate. I added a few {Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper} hearts. The heart is from the Owl Punch.

My last card is featuring both {Jar of Haunts} and {Ghoulish Grunge}. I stamped the background with the spiderweb and water coloured it with Soft Suede. I filled the jars with eyeballs, blood and spiders, they are so delectably creepy - I love it!! I hope you like them, have a spook-tactular day!

Cookie Cutter Halloween gets some Ghoulish Grunge

Hello stampers!

Well, the big day is almost upon us. What day you ask? Why Halloween, of course!! The day where you can dress up and pretend to be someone else for the day and people give you free candy... what's not to like? I decided to make my card today featuring all of the cuties from the {Cookie Cutter Halloween} - to make them like trick-or-treaters. I remember my favourite Halloween costume, I went as Cleopatra, I loved my bendable snake arm and headband. That year my sister went as a Robot, with the lights and everything, surprising since it was the 80's. I bet the real Cleopatra wasn't hanging around a Robot, ah well. Enough of the jibber-jabber, check out my cute card.

How cute is that? They look so happy, well I'm not sure about the mummy - but I'm going to assume he is. I used a variety of colours to colour in these little guys...

Dracula I used Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron and Elegant Eggplant.
The Mummy I used Smoky Slate.
The Scarecrow I used Crushed Curry, Dapper Denim, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive.
Lastly, the Skeleton I kept it simple like the mummy with Smoky Slate and a bit of Sahara Sand.

This set coordinates with the {Cookie Cutter Builder Punch}, so you can have all your fall/winter cards all covered with this set. I used the Scarecrow for Thankgiving.

I just love the {Ghoulish Grunge} stamp set, especially the brick image, which is what I used on my card with Clear Embossing powder. You'd never guess that I used clear, it looks like black. The sentiment is from {Jar of Haunts} since there are no sentiments in the two sets I chose.

A Whole LOT of "Basket of Wishes"

Hello Stampers!

I don't know about you? But I love stamped images that look like they are hand sketched, a great example is the new set {Basket of Wishes} on page 49 of the Holiday Catalogue. You can choose from 3 different baskets and 4 different basket contents.

Today, I have not ONE card to share, but FIVE!!

For the first card (of 5) I have to share I went for the pumpkins and gourds to fill my basket. I decided to watercolour (big surprise right?). I used a variety of colours including Delightful Dijon, Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede, Emerald Envy, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red. Lovely fall colours, some of my favourite colours.

For the next card, I used the flower basket. I used basically the same colours except I added Rich Razzleberry. I added the sunflowers to this basket, so pretty.

Okay, so I went back to the pumpkins for this next card - can you tell it's my favouite? I used the same colours, but changed up the design and background elements.

So I have a yummy box of strawberries this time. Mmmmm, oh how I would love some freshly picked strawberries right now... sadly not until next June. I kept the colours to 3 for this card, Real Red, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay.

Here is another basket of yummy strawberries but with a change in background and design. I used Daffodil Delight for the background this time with a piece of the {Serene Scenery DSP} and a bit of gold twine. This set was so fun to colour and create with, I hope you've enjoyed my shares and feel inspired to create some watercoloured cards for yourself. Have a happy day!
