Lotus Blossom

Lotus Blossom is my favourite Sale-a-bration item. It is so simple to make a beautifully stamped image with lots of dimension. For this one I tried out two unusual flower colours, Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon. I love the depth they add to the lotus image.

Big Day

I used the Best.Year.Ever. stamp set to add some colour by Paper Piecing technique.

I added it to the "Celebrate", "Cake" and the "Cake".
The designer series paper has some fun designs,
but I wanted to use a softer, more subtle paper design.

Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum

Best.Year.Ever. Designer Series Paper is behind the butterfly peeking through the vellum and as a layer. I didn't want to ruin the lovely effect of the vellum, so I stamped the For all you do sentiment onto a piece of window sheet and added it to the butterfly layer.

I had these cute little vases that I bought at Michael's Craft Store and thought how cute would they look with some butterflies shooting out from them. So I used a piece of the "Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum" and coloured and cut them out before adding them to a piece of window strip.

They were fluttering a lot in the wind.

I chose the piece of vellum with the flowers shooting up from the bottom, which was perfect for this tiny bottle. I just trimmed it a bit.

I added a Lost Lagoon thick baker's twine around the bottle and tied a sentiment made from a window sheet, saying "My friend" from the Six Sided Sampler set (annual catalogue).

The window sheets were adhered using a glue dot,
and added to the fringe made with the Fringe Scissors.

Best. Day. Ever.

I decided to make some fun flowers - I added flowerpots made using the heart from the same stamp set. I wanted perfect alignment, so I used the stamp-a-ma-jig.

This card features a lot of Sale-a-bration items:
Best. Day. Ever Stamp set, Best. Year. Ever Designer Series Paper, In Colour Accessory Pack, Simply Wonderful Stamp Set, Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum.

Simply Wonderful

How adorable are these cute little carrots? Perfect for Easter this weekend... of course they have some chocolates inside! I just cut a strip of designer series paper (Confetti Celebration), since it was orange - added some sticky strip to make a tube. Pinched one end and sealed closed. Put the treats inside, cut some fringe and add to the top before closing to secure the treats inside. I love the sentiments in the Simply Wonderful stamp set. I used the To a great friend, and You're the best - I added the "Simply"

I hope you've enjoyed all my shares...
and feel inspired to create with this years' sale-a-bration items.
I'd love to hear you thoughts on what I've created, have a great day!

Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping!

Happy EASTER Bunny

Tomorrow is the LAST day to earn exclusive Sale-a-bration items. Time has just flown by, I can't believe it's almost April! Tomorrow, I have A LOT of cards to share - over 20!! All featuring Sale-a-bration products, mainly the For Being You. I've got to say, that I just love the extra large block letters in this set, great for many different techniques. I hope you'll visit me tomorrow to see what I created! Onto my share for today...

Since Easter is quickly approaching I thought I'd better share this card sooner, rather than later. I made this cute card at a recent gathering that my upline had at her stampin' pad! She had this adorable Easter Bunny stamp, called Happy Easter Bunny. new from the Occasions Catalogue. I don't own the stamp, so I just had to play. I stamped the bunny 3 times. I decided to cut the entire bunny out and pop him up on dimensionals for some added dimension.

It still needed something, so I cut out the belly and popped it up on dimensionals, I did the same for the bunnies bow. I did colour him in with Blendabilities Markers, which are unfortunately no longer available. Stampin' Write Markers, a Blender Pen or Aqua painter would also work great.

That bunny sure can shake a bootie, can't he?! I wonder what music is playing?

The stamp fits perfectly with the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies,  I cut a Smoky Slate layer but decided to offset the stamped oval. I layered it onto a embossed background of Bermuda Bay - I used the Perfect Polka dots textured impressions embossing folder. To finish, I added some Baker's Twine and a Silver Metal Button.

I hope you like it! Have a great day :)

Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:
Inks: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink; Blendabilities Assortments - Smoky Slate, Bermuda Bay, Pink Pirouette, Old Olive.
