Acorny Thank You: Mint Dijon & Cajun Razzleberry

Hello stampers!

It is a perfectly lovely fall day today, I just had to I have a lovely fall card with you. I actually designed this card a while ago, but today is a very fitting time to share it. I used the {Acorny thank you} stamp set, paired with the {Petals & Posies Designer Series Paper} from the Paisley's suite of products. I am absolutely smitten with this line from the patterns to the colours, I love it all!

I know that real acorns are not purple or mint green, but in card making you can make things differently whenever you want. So my acorns are Minty Dijon & Cajun Razzleberry... don't they sound like a yummy dessert? I don't think acorns would really taste as delicious as they sound - but squirrels sure love them. I got my colour inspiration from the designer series paper and added in some Rich Razzleberry. I must say that Mint Macaron and Delightful Dijon have become two of my most used and loved colours and I am sad that they are to retire at the end of the Annual catalogue in June.

I hope you like my card and that you enjoy this beautiful fall day!

Aren't you excited about this sale? Who doesn't love getting a discount? Anyhoo.,.. I do have a card share today also. It is featuring the oh-so-cute {Fa-la-la-la-Friends} stamp set. There is something about that adorable little llama that gets me every time. For my starry banners, I used the {Tin of Tags} stamp set with Tip Top Taupe ink for a tone-on-tone look... some stamped directly and some stamped off once for a lighter look.

I also added a bit of ink splatter around the base card, because - well, why not!? Since the Fa-la-la-la Friends set is photopolymer, you can bend the sentiments somewhat - I went with a slight upward curve to sit nicely under the circle. I used the {Layering Circles Dies} first with watercolour paper so I could colour in the llama, then for a pop of colour with a scalloped edge of Emerald Envy - I so love that colour! It also ties in with the lights wrapped around the llama because I used Emerald Envy and Real Red to colour them. Well, that's it for today... I hope you have an amazing Monday! Bye for now.

Paisleys & Posies Holiday Wreath Card

Hello stampers!

I hope you're not getting sick of the projects I have been sharing featuring the {Paisleys & Posies} stamp set? There are so many possibilities with this wonderful set of images. I was "playing", a couple of weeks ago with this set and it ended up being a Christmas/Holiday card.

I used the large, small and extra small leaves and stamped them into a circle shape. I started with Emerald Envy ink, then added some Mint Macaron - it almost looks like it's fading or a shadow-like effect.

I used a small hand punch (1/4") to make some sparkly berries to add some sparkle and colour to my wreath. You can never go wrong with some glitter, and during the holidays {Red Glimmer Paper} is perfect! The sentiment is from the {Tin of Tags} stamp set. I hope you like my card, enjoy the rest of your day!
