Oh So Eclectic... oh, hello friend

Hello stampers!

What a beautiful day we have today! I hear it's going to be a rain free weekend too... can't remember a 3 day stretch with no rain. For today, I have a fresh card to share. I say fresh because I used Lemon Lime Twist and it looks like a fresh colour. I made this card several months ago (I think May?) but forgot to share it with you. It was my very first card with this set (that I won at On Stage).

I immediately had to stamp the leaf image - I love how it looks 3-D. I added a bit of Tranquil Tide stamping and cut out a flower to finish it off. I hope you like it, enjoy the sunshine!

Tickled Pink with Fabulous Flamingo!

Hello stampers!

Today I have a PINK card, well Sweet Sugarplum isn't technically a pink but it goes nicely together. I always seem to be low on baby themed cards, not sure why but I decided to get some done. I used the "fabulous" {fabulous flamingo} stamp set. A fellow demo in the same group as me is totally obsessed with flamingos and I decided that after studying it multiple times that I must have it too. They do seem to be trendy right now... they are popping up in all the stores.

For my colours I went with the new in colour -powder pink, along with Flirty Flamingo ... very appropriate for stamping a flamingo eh?! and lastly Sweet Sugarplum. I stamped tone on tone for a more subtle muted look that simply stamping onto white card stock.

You can see the nice selection of sentiments within the set, since I was on a mission to create baby cards I thought the tickled pink for you was perfectly fitting for my card.

The sentiment is heat embossed with gold embossing powder... I am all about the gold embellishments and added touches, it's strange because I'm personally more of a silver girl. However, gold looks amazing with the pink tones! As a final detail I added a few of the {Iridescent Sequins} = love!! I think a mother to be would like this card, what do you think? Just a heads up... "we" demos got to see some sneak peeks of the upcoming Holiday catalogue and I pretty much NEED, hmmm... want. Some Christmas stuff and some fall and Halloween stuff (my fav!). I'll share as soon as I can. Have a great day!

Carols of Christmas - coming soon!

Hello stampers!

Starting August 1, 2017, the stunning new stamp set called {Carols of Christmas} and {Card Builder Framelits} with be available to order a month before the upcoming Holiday catalogue goes live. I love the large, bold font on the sentiments. Since I used the {Colour Theory DSP} with an ombre design, I did the same for the sentiment. It's very simple to do - just stamp with the full strength ink and stamp off once the bottom portion - and there you have it an ombre sentiment.

I used the framelits to make a stencil and using a sponge dauber added some trees that way. I used marina mist and soft sky. I also added some {Embossing Paste} to add some fallen snow to the sponged trees. I hope you like it!

Daisy Delight and Colour Theory

Hello stampers!

I have another card to share featuring the {Daisy Delight} stamp set, daisy punch and colour theory DSP... can you tell I really like them? I went for an angled look with the DSP for this card and added a bit of gold foil to jazz it up a bit.

I decided to flip the DSP so one piece has the colour gradation from dark to light and the other from light to dark. I love this paper and that it looks like paint swatches. I hope you like my card, have a fab day!

Happy Birthday with Colour Theory

Hello stampers!

today's share, it's featuring the {Colour Theory DSP} and the {Happy Birthday Thinlit}. It was rather simple to create, and the paper looks amazing! I love this DSP.

I started with a Rich Razzleberry card base to coordinate with the DSP. I diecut the happy birthday, but instead of just using it as is I decided to put the diecut back in leaving an outline of the diecut words. I hope you like my card. Have a great day!!

Oh So Eclectic... I DONUT know what I'd do without you

Hello stampers!

In April I was lucky enough to get to attend our local On Stage event in Toronto, ON, Canada. The set featured in my card today is from the stamp set that I won during prize patrol! It's called {Oh So Eclectic}. I was so pleased to receive it as it was on my wishlist. I realize that the stamp set is to be for floral type cards, but I kept looking at the one somewhat circular image and I kept seeing a donut. Weird right? Of course there is no sentiments to coordinate with a donut image since that was not the intention of the image when designed... so {Labeler Alphabet} to the rescue! That set has saved several of my projects!

I stamped the entire background layer of Whisper White with this circular image using Sweet Sugarplum and the NEW Powder Pink colours. But... they still needed a little something - what donut is complete without a little sprinkles!? Within the stamp set there is an image with dots (intended for the flower centers I'm sure), but it worked  for my purpose. I did fussy cut out a couple of them and added dimensionals... well, just 'cause.

During the month of JULY, for every $60 CAN you spend (before S&H + Taxes) you will receive a coupon via email for $6. There is no limit as to how many coupons you can get
