A "Sheltering Tree" for all seasons

Hello crafters!

I hope you all had a nice weekend. I had another busy one. Last week I had a bit of time to sneak in some crafting time and decided to pull out one of my stamp sets from the annual catalogue, it's one of my favourites too... {Sheltering Tree}. It really is such a stunning set and I love to create different seasons depicted through the trees. I have TWO cards to share today, check out the first below.

For this first one, I started by cutting my rectangles for my stamping layers. I stamped the skeleton tree forms in different areas for an interesting look using Chocolate Chip ink. I was originally going to make the stamped images go from spring to winter, but I liked the look of the bright fall tones in one corner and the soft, pretty spring blossom tones in the opposite. Then the winter vs. summer look.

For my next card, I still went with the tones of all seasons... but a different approach. I stamped only two skeleton trees with Early Espresso ink, and instead of having tiles for the front portion I made the trees have two seasons in one.

The first tree is spring and summer and the second is fall and winter. I think it looks kind of neat, do you?! I hope you like my cards, if you have any questions please let me know. Have a great day!!

Ghoulish Grunge meets Cookie Cutter Halloween

Hello!

I did it again, made another Halloween card and since it's my favourite holiday, I'm sure there will be more in the future too. I was immediately drawn to {Ghoulish Grunge}, what's not to love about it... there is a cobweb, netting, bricks, blood or paint drips and cheese cloth to create fun and spooky backgrounds for your projects. I used the brick wall stamp image for today's card.

Another set that I HAD to have was [Cookie Cutter Halloween}. There is a coordinating punch and Christmas/Holiday set that is bundled together. I just had to stamp the skeleton, he was just screaming out to me! Isn't he so cute?!!

I added a few other Halloween elements, a spider web, spider and bats from {Mr. Funny Bones}. I'm in love with all the Halloween products this year (who am I kidding, I am every year!).

I added some of the {Solid Basic Black Baker's Twine}, frayed and scrunched, then stapled to the sentiment layer. I hope you like it, have a great one! :)
