I "HEART" Affectionately Yours!

Hello! I have another card to share with you today featuring one of my fav's, {Affectionately Yours}. I decided to try something a bit different this time, rather than using mainly the larger flowers, I used one of the smaller flower stamps to stamp multiples, and multiples of these little guys using a few of the new In-colours. I used Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum. 


I added a few of the two largest flowers, stamped onto Flirty Flamingo card stock before fussy cutting them out. I used Mint Macaron for the leaves... doesn't it go perfect with these colours?!


A final detail, a bit of glitter by using the {Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush} in the centers of the flowers. And of course, a lovely sentiment from this fab set to finish off my card. I hope you like it, have a super day!!

In the Meadow Water Coloured Scene

Hey there! I hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine was definitely busy, as we are getting ready to sell my Dad's house. I have some stamp inspiration to share today featuring one of the carryover items from the Occasions Catalogue. It's called {In the Meadow} and it's a stunningly beautiful set. I love how the images appear hand sketched and you can make a lovely scene for water colouring or colouring with markers... or just simply an outlines scene would be pretty as well. 


I went for water colouring again, big surprise... right!? I love the look of water colouring and the artsy feel it portrays. I used almost all the stamp images in the set to make this pretty scene. I double stamped the mountains to cover the width of my water colour paper layer. Then add the colours you like. I hope you like it, enjoy your day!!

Balloon Celebration Dandelion Wishes

Hello again! Today my card is featuring a very versatile stamp set called {Balloon Celebration}. The varied images, fun sentiments and lots of balloons. But, a few more images caught my attention... the dandelion wishes.  


I remember when I was a kid my mom would tell me if you catch a "wish" you make a wish and let it fly. If it stays in the air your wish will come true. It's a nice thought right?! I made a multi-toned blue background with re-inkers and an aquapainter. 


I used {White Stampin' Emboss Powder} so the ink would resist the dandelion wishes stamped. It was rather difficult to see exactly where I stamped since versamark is clear, but I managed to get the job done. I added some sparkle with a {Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush}, it's subtle, but appropriate for wishes with a bit of magic dust.


I added an embossed background with {Softly Falling} but I used the de-bossed side... it's like tiny little wishes. The sentiment is from {Grateful Bunch} and a bit more sparkle with {Silver Metallic Thread}. I hope you like it, have a great one!!!
