Copper & Paisleys "Masked Heart"

Hello stampers!

Today, I have a card to share that was inspired by the framed wall art photo on page 46 of the 2016 Holiday Catalogue. I made an outline of a heart and stamped the images from the {Paisleys & Posies} stamp set. This is one of my favourite sets from the catalogue, and probably my most used too.

I used Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze and Soft Suede because they coordinated with the piece of Designer Series Paper I chose from the {Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper}. I added tiny bits of {Copper Foil} to fill in any of the larger gaps and to add a nice hint of shine.

I loved the look of this card, I ended up making around 30. I have a second card to share, I used a larger heart and a different stamp arrangement and a couple different images. I changed up the colour combination also, using Night of Navy and Delightful Dijon.

Instead of copper accents, I added a few Rhinestones for the added shine!

In This World Watercoloured Collage

Hello stampers!

While playing around I pulled out the {In This World} stamp set from the Annual catalogue, page 145. It has a nice vintage feeling to it and is great for collage style cards. I of course, had to water colour it too. Another great way to add a vintage feel.

I used a mix of Delightful Dijon, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede mixed with some Gold Wink and Clear Wink of Stella.

Here's a non-stamping related photo of my Nephew, Clyde. I couldn't believe how teeny-tiny he was. It's hard to believe that I was once smaller than he is. Well, I hope you like my card - have a great one!!

Happy Hallowe'en: Jar of Haunts, Ghoulish Grunge & Mr. Funny Bones

Hello stampers!

Happy Hallowe'en!! My favourite day of the year. I thought I'd share some cards to celebrate this spooky occasion. I used a few of the Halloween themed stamp sets from the 2016 Holiday Catalogue. First, I pulled out the {Jar of Haunts} stamp set. I decided to go with the spooky eyes and stamped randomly over the entire background piece of watercolour paper. I added Delightful Dijon, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red to the eyes with some Soft Suede for the background. I love it, the eyes look so sinister.

My next card is featuring {Mr. Funny Bones}. It is so fun to get to create your own skeleton with this set. Since today is my Anniversary, I thought the sentiment You stole my heart was appropriate. I added a few {Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper} hearts. The heart is from the Owl Punch.

My last card is featuring both {Jar of Haunts} and {Ghoulish Grunge}. I stamped the background with the spiderweb and water coloured it with Soft Suede. I filled the jars with eyeballs, blood and spiders, they are so delectably creepy - I love it!! I hope you like them, have a spook-tactular day!
