8-Sided Popcorn Box with Instructions

Hello stampers!

I have a fun box to share with you complete with photos and instructions. I used the {Popcorn Box Thinlits Dies} to make a larger version. I used night of navy card stock and {Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper}. The sentiments used are from {Gift from the Garden}. I hope you like it.

Cut 4 - die cuts (8-1/2" X 11" piece of Card stock, cut at 5-1/2" will make the 4 pieces). Fold score lines and assemble as shown below.

Attach the final tab to the opposite end like shown below.

It looks a bit wonky right now, but it needs some re-enforcement to make it sturdier.

Cut 1 piece of 1-3/4" X 4". This tab is to be adhered first and forms the box. Cut 3 pieces of 1-1/2" X 3-3/4" and add to the tabs.

Continue to add strips until all the tabs are adhered. It will look like the sample below.

I cut another 4 pieces and adhered into the inside of the box to make it more sturdy. I also die cut the largest circle from the {Layering Circles Dies}.

I die cut 2 die cuts and cut on the score lines to make them smaller and leave a slight border.

The box is assembled and ready to be filled. I used an artificial plant to give an example since it reminded me of a flower pot.

Flower pot is in the box, now for a few embellishments.

You could also use it to bundle up some cards to gift someone. Just add a bag and some ribbon!
