Hello stampers!

I was honoured to be asked to make some display samples for the Stampin' Up! Canadian Business Conference held a week or so ago. Now that the event is finished, I thought I'd share some of the projects that I created with you. I chose to use the Sale-a-bration set, {Avant Garden}.

I cut 6 squares, 2 in Sahara Sand, 2 in Crumb Cake and 2 in Soft Suede. I used the same inks as the card stock for a tone-on-tone look. An added detail, I braided the Basic Black Baker's Twine around the middle, I was playing around and thought it might look good for this project. All images stamped are from the Avant Garden set, even the dots around the background! I have a second project below.

I had planned on water colouring this card, but then I started stamping and this is what I came up with. Lots of colour, like I stamped my very own piece of designer series paper.

Using the {Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies - 145372} for a focal point for my card. I stamped two flowers with stems (Mint Macaron) for a pop of green and added the sentiment in black ink. A bit of twine and clear sequins. I hope you like my cards...
