Feathers a Plenty

Hello on this wet Tuesday afternoon... I don't mind the rain, that means I don't have to water my lawn or flowers today and more time to craft :)

I had these cards a couple of weeks ago, using one of my all-time favourite sets 'A Happy Hooray'. I love a set with fun images as well as sentiments!! I especially love this fun feather stamp - I decided to try to make a flower with it and I think it looks well, like a flower.. don't you?!

I used a stamp-a-ma-jig to align the feather perfectly, but I also tried it without one and it worked out pretty much the same. If you're a perfectionist, you'll want to use the stamp-a-ma-jig! On one card I added a candy dot - since the 'dots' don't come in the new in-colours (I used Lost Lagoon for my card), I used a shade close to it and used Marina Mist. It matches pretty well! On the other card, I stamped the thanks sentiment and punched it out with the 1-1/4" circle and matted it onto a 1-3/8" circle in Basic Black. This is a simple, yet striking look for a masculine or feminine card!

I hope you like my cards, have a super day!!
