Bohemian Butterflies Swap

Today I am sharing the cards that I made for a "Shoe box Swap" that I participated in this past weekend. A shoe box swap is when you design a card and prepare all the time consuming bits like die cutting, embossing, etc. in advance and bring all the pieces and the other swappers re-create your card. I originally went with the Delightful Dijon card, since I love yellows, but in the past I heard razzing about my love for Summer Starfruit (still love you guys, but I love that colour).

Anyhoo... I went with the Tip Top Taupe card instead so everyone is happy, besides it's a lovely new neutral so you can't go wrong. I must say it was the popular colour, as almost all swaps used Tip Top Taupe. When I got home from the swap I still had some "bits" left over, so I wanted to try it out with the other In-Colours that I didn't use yet.

My first card is the one I used for my swap card. I used the Bohemian Borders stamp set, stamped in Tip Top Taupe Classic Ink, the Boho Chic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and Bohemian Designer Series Paper. I used the Butterfly Thinlits Dies, Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly Punches. The sentiment is from the Perfect Pennants stamp set that was a carryover from last years Annual Catalogue.

The next one is Mint Macaron, ink and card base with an accent colour of Island Indigo.

The third one is using Cucumber Crush ink, and Rich Razzleberry card base.

The next one was my original design, using Delightful Dijon and Bermuda Bay.

The last one is Watermelon Wonder ink and an Island Indigo card base.

I like all 5... it was fun to play with each of the new In-colours. Which one is your favourite?
