Cork + Arrows

 Hello stampers!

It was so beautiful today, a nice early spring day... I hope these warmer, sunny days continue.

I  was playing around the other day with some of my sale-a-bration freebies and really wanted to make a cool card with the 'cork' pieces that come with the Sweet Sorbet accessory pack - here's what I came up with...

I used some Basic Black and Pacific Point cardstock. I cut 1/2" strips of Pacific Point and 1" strips of Basic Black and ran them through my Big Shot with the 'Arrows' textured impressions embossing folder. I really like the effect of embossing multiple colours of cardstock! I started by adding the scallops to the center line of Pacific Point and it really pops off the page - I thought why not add some of the pretty flowers too!! The cork pieces really add a nice dimension to the card and I'm quite happy with the final project.
