From Land to underwater Sea

Okay, so I am predicting that the stamp set From Land to Sea will be a favourite of mine for a long time. I love adding sponging to my cards, and what better than to sponge an underwater scene. I was just dying to use the jellyfish stamp. I stamped the image several times with varying shades of blue so it appears to be swimming closer to the surface.

I decided to add a swimming turtle and colouring it a different colour so it would "pop" a bit more. I layered my sponged panels onto some Basic Black.

I was going to leave this front without a sentiment, but then I just happened to have the Guy Greetings stamp set on my desk. I thought this would make a perfect birthday card for my dad. I stamped a sponged panel, and stapled it onto a Basic Black 1" strip that I flagged with the Banner Triple Punch. Before attaching it to the card, I added some frayed Burlap Ribbon. I hope you like it!
