What's your TYPE? of backgrounds!!

Well, I'm officially off work for two weeks. Just my luck, I'm sick. It never fails, whether it's my day off, my vacation or Christmas I always get sick. I'm feeling a bit better, I guess the 14+ hours of sleep I got today helped... I was hoping to get some 'backyard' stuff done tomorrow, but I'll wait a few days so I don't over-do anything! I have another fun share featuring the 'What's your Type' stamp set which will be available on June 2. I have 4 fun cards to share today using this set!!

 

For my first card, I used the 1/2 striped circle, stamping one side in the new in-colour Lost Lagoon and the other in Tangelo Twist (such a lovely combination... don't you think?!). I used the 'Sassy Salutations' set for my Happy Birthday greeting, also stamped and matted in Tangelo Twist. I added some stars from the new 'Accent Punch Pack', which includes the star, but also a small heart and flower - super cute punch pack! 

 

For my second card, I used the smaller triangle image and stamped using the new in-colour Tangelo Twist again, but this time with Hello Honey - I love this yellow colour, it will help me to get over the loss of Summer Starfruit :(

I made my word "hi" with some of the fun shapes in this set and finished by wrapping some Baker's Twine around my layer...

For my third card I used the same striped triangle image as the previous card, but this time I used Coastal Cabana and Baked Brown Sugar. I added the sentiment from the 'Geometrical' stamp set - to get the single Hooray I just used my Basic Black marker. I stamped, punched and popped up on dimensionals the triangles to make a fun pattern - lots of triangle fun in this card! 

For my fourth card I used the solid triangle image and stamped randomly to cover the entire piece of cardstock using Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Crisp Cantaloupe and Crumb Cake ink. I added the greeting Make a wish from the 'Perfect Pennants' stamp set and finished with some gold baker's twine - I've just gotta add some twine!!
