May Blessings fall like Snowflakes

Yesterday, I had my annual Stamp-a-Stack. It was so much fun, mainly because of the fun ladies who attended. When I was all done my prep for class, I had a bit of time to create for me and this is what I came up with...

I really wanted to use some brightly coloured blue tones, and what better than Pacific Point?!! It's such a vibrant blue hue. I paired it with Marina Mist which is more subtle and helps to tone it down slightly. I used the "hostess/host" set from the Holiday Catalogue called {Six Sayings} as the sentiment - I like this stamp because of the layout of it. You can stamp and cut to accentuate certain parts of it, stamp a solid colour for the entire thing, or like I did with Stampin' Write Markers to add different colours to each line on the stamp.

I used Pacific Point, Marina Mist and Night of Navy Stampin' Write Markers to colour in this stamp - just give a huff, huff of breath and that's all she wrote folks! A beautifully stamped multicoloured image all ready to go. My first layer is Pacific Point and the second is also Pacific Point. I embossed the first one with the {Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder} - probably one of my most used embossing folders - so glad it's being carried over into the Occasions Catalogue ... yay!!

I added a piece of Marina Mist to the second layer of Pacific Point with a die cut from the {Lots of Labels Framelits Dies} - super popular dies. I used some of the oh so lovely {Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum}. I've eaten (not literally) through several of these vellum paper stacks. I mounted my sentiment, stamped on Thick Whisper White to a piece 1/8" larger of Marina Mist.

Before attaching I added some loops of {Silver Cording Trim} - I can't tell you how much I use this cording Trim, probably the gold a bit more - but love both. There is something about silver and blue that is just so striking. For my finishing touches, I added a trail of {Rhinestone Basic Jewels} that graduates from small to larger as the trickle down the card - and a {Snowflake Element} - love these too. Who am I kidding, I love everything right?!! I stamped the snowflake with {White Craft Ink} - added some {Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder} heat set it, added a rimmed pearl and Bob's your Uncle, not mine, yours! It actually came together much quicker than you'd think. I hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping!
Beckie
