Peace & Sleigh Rides

I recently had a Stamp-a-stack with some of my stamping friends, they made 12 cards - 2 each of 6 different designs. This card was one they created. I used Whisper White & Night of Navy for my colours with a bit of Black. I used the {Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Dies} and the {Sleigh Ride Edgelits} to die cut the ornament focal point on this card.

I die cut the card layers - die cut a solid ornament in the center. Then die cut one in Night of Navy - and using the white one from the center, good way to reuse all your bits & pieces with this card! Then, die cut your houses and sleigh and horse. You want them to be able to have one on top of the other nicely - like shown below. You can cut both at the same time. I die cut another solid ornament with the {Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack} - LOVE this! I gave the option of the snowflakes or trees - I think everyone went with the one on the sample - the snowflakes. Both looked great!

It's hard to tell with a white-on-white background, but the white layer is embossed with versamark and {Iridescent Ice Stampin' Emboss Powder} so it's very subtle, but sparkly. The "Peace" made with the {Christmas Greetings Thinlits}. It was attached with either 2-way glue, Multi purpose liquid glue or Fine tip Glue pen. I'm a Tombow gal myself. But, all work nicely. To finish the ornament stack the white onto the navy, the navy onto the vellum and pop with Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere to the opening previously die cut. Add your Black Glimmer ornament topper and some White Satin Ribbon. Pretty eh?! It was a lot of cutting, but worth it! Have a great one :)

Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping!
