Happy by the tide!!

 We decided to take a trip down to the beach yesterday... it was a bit on the chilly side but we went for a nice 5 km walk with our pup Tucker! I really should have worn shoes, because that's a lot of walking to do with flip flops on!! But after the exhaustingly long winter, I am much happier in my sandals than shoes!! I couldn't believe how high up the beach the water was since the last time I was at the beach about a month ago! I know this doesn't have anything to do with stamping... or does it? Well, my card today is featuring the 'By the Tide' stamp set and I thought I'd add in some beach photos I took to set the mood, enjoy :)

 

 

I just had to try out my hexagons again with this stamp set - I stamped a couple fish in Island Indigo and cut them out and hung them from the linen thread as though they'd been caught! I think it makes for a great masculine card too!

 

 The beach was really choppy with lots of waves!

 It was relatively clean, which was nice to see - and there was lots of people out yesterday bike riding, walking, rollerblading... even with the windy, chilly weather!
