One BIG Meaning: Glittery, Golden Purse

I'm sure you've seen a bunch of these super cute little purses, I shared one last week. I thought I'd try making some with Gold Fancy Designer Vellum - and they turned out fabulous!! I added even more glitz with some Gold Glimmer paper. I added a matching card that tucks nicely inside the purse.

I added the cute stitching to the card with the new That Thing you Did stamp set - and it's photopolymer which makes it easy to line up the images perfectly. A nice little card with some pretty packaging, what could be better?

They are super easy to make, just cut a strip of 3-1/2" X 12" designer series paper (or vellum, as I did), add tape to one end. Make a base measuring 2-1/2" X 5-1/2" scored at 1/2" on all 4 sides. Cut a slit on each side and add some adhesive and make your box. Wrap your designer series paper around your base. Cut a 1/2" strip for the trim and two more smaller ones for the handles. You can decorate your purses as desired. I hope that you like my share, and will try to make some of these super cute purses yourself.

Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping!
