What's your TYPE?! Sneak Peek...

Well, the rain has finally stopped! It's been 3 days of downpours - my grass has grown 3 inches in 3 days!!!!! I had the worst migraine, which was brought on by the rain... so I didn't do much crafting! I did however, get a chance to do some today. My wonderful upline, Jenn loaned my the NEW stamp set she won at the catalogue premiere called 'What's your Type?'. I was curious about the kinds of projects that could be made with the set. It is all shapes... circles, half circles, rectangles, triangles... many, many different shapes. I made a bunch of samples up - here are a few I did up today! Check them out...

I decided to stamp out words, then cut each letter out and matted them onto Basic Black cardstock for a nice contrast. I used the gorgeous new in-colours, I am so in love with these stunning shades, an orange, yellow, purple, blue and green - pure perfection!!

My first card is 'smile'... I used just the Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist in-colours for this card.

 

 

My second one is 'thx', short for thanks!! I used all 5 of the new in-colours. I made this one for Jenn along with a fun sign and some yummy chocolate popcorn - it's not made with stamps, but it's delish!! 

Next is a 'hello', using Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon.

 Next is 'Thx U', I should have put a comma.... 'thanks, you' - but I think people will figure it out?! I used only Tangelo Twist!! I love this shade of orange, deep, yet vibrant!

 

Lastly, here is a photo of the first 3 cards I created in a nice little trio!
