It must be Santa... Santa Claus!

Today's post is all about the man himself... Jolly Old Saint Nick!  I used the 'Santa's List' stamp set - it's probably my favourite stamp set in the holiday catalogue to make my share today. This stamp can make such fun, and fab cards featuring the man himself... SANTA!

To make my card, I used Bermuda Bay and Real Red (I love this colour combo!! - very striking). I cut a piece of Very Vanilla and inked up my 'Be Very Merry' stamp and using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get my sentiment evenly spaced it was a must since the stamp is wood mount only.

I carried the sentiment over the entire background layer - in lieu of designer series paper, I created my own!! I cut strips of Bermuda Bay and Real Red and attached to my stamped layer in the center. Then before attaching to my Bermuda Layer, I added a piece of the 'Real Red Stitched Grosgrain' ribbon.

To finish, I stamped the man in Real Red ink, punched him out with my 2 1/2" Circle punch... Santa wasn't harmed in the production of this card, I promise! I cut a Bermuda Bay layer using the 'Circles Collection Framelits' and lastly, I added some sparkle with Dazzling Details to his fur trim on his coat and hat (it's hard to see in the photo, but it's there!).
