Skating Birdie

My card share for today is one of the cards from my Holiday Stamp-a-stack featuring the 'For the birds' stamp set. I first cut my Island Indigo and Pool Party layers. I embossed the Pool Party one with the 'Chevron' textured impressions embossing folder. I cut a strip 2-1/2" X 5" from the 'Winter Frost DSPS', added a 'Tea Lace Doily'. I then stamped and coloured the skating birdie with Stampin' Write Markers and some 2-way glue to add some 'Dazzling Diamonds' Glitter. I punched it out with the 2-1/2" Circle Punch and diecut a 'Deco Label Framelit' in Island Indigo to use as a mat for the little birdie. before assembling, I added a piece of Island Indigo Baker's Twine where I tied a bow through a 'Vintage Faceted Button' - I just love these buttons, well buttons in general but these are so pretty!
