A Festive Mr. Hexagon!

It's Monday! Before I head off to work, I've got a card make with a holiday stamp set... but it isn't a holiday card!

Tomorrow the NEW occasions catty starts....eeeekkkk! Are you excited? I'm so happy that the 'Festival of Trees' stamp set and 'Tree Punch' are on the Carry over list...  I hope you're happy about that too! I find myself constantly using this set, not just for Christmas cards either. I was playing around one day with my favourite tree image and made a funky pattern. Mr. Hexagon was calling out to me to be used, so that's what I did. What a love affair we have...

Look at how lovely he made this card paired with that funky tree image!!! I used two of my favourite colours, Mossy Meadow and Tangelo Twist. They add to the retro feel I was going for. I will admit that this type of card can take a while to create, but I love the effect - so I keep on doing it! I used the Six-sided sampler for the hi there sentiment... added some Linen Thread and Very Vintage Button. The button coordinated perfectly, since I used Very Vanilla for my base. I hope you like it :)

Don't forget the today is the last day to order from the Holiday Catalogue and to get items from the Year-end closeouts! So, if there is something you can't live without ... don't hesitate!
