Butterfly Basics, basically blooms

The 'Butterfly Basics' stamp set is one of those sets that I knew I had to have. Not only are the stamp images so pretty, but you have the option of bundling with a set of thinlits dies. Butterflies are always a nice addition to cards, I just couldn't resist. My two favourite stamps are the flowers and the foliage images - those are the two that I used on this card, plus the itty bitty butterfly.

I started with the foliage and stamped on, stamped off to cover the lower part of my white layer. Once I was happy with the look of the foliage, I stamped a bunch of the flowers and fussy cut them out. A lot of cutting, I wish they had those left-handed scissors like when I was a kid... sure would help when cutting a lot!

I used the distressing tool to fray the edges of the Mossy Meadow layer before matting it to my Crushed Curry base. To finish, I added a bitty butterfly and a sentiment.

My card looks so bright compared to that "white stuff" in the background!!
I hope you like it, have a great day :)
