Butterfly Basics, sans Butterflies: Mini Notecards

I got another box of new loveliness last night... I've assembled all my new toys, I think I need a bit of play time before work. I can't do much else since I pulled something in my back and it hurts to do, well, anything - but I'll try some creative therapy!

I've got some itty bitty cards to share today. I just love making these tiny little cutties! I went with the 'Butterfly Basics' stamp set - and I used it three ways! Check it out...

For this card, I simply stamped the flower twice. Added a thank you sentiment from the Lotus Blossom (Sale-a-bration set). Matted onto some Basic Black and that's it, simple black and white!

For this next one, I stepped it up a bit. I still went with black and white layers, but I coloured the flowers with the NEW Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi Blendabilities Assortment of Markers. I added the same thank you stamp as the first one.

To step it up even more... I stamped the flower, and punched it out with the 2" circle punch and matted it onto a 2-3/8" scallop circle. I added a bit more colour into this one with some Bermuda Bay cardstock embossed with the woodgrain textured impressions embossing folder. I still matted it onto Basic Black, and the same thank you again - but punched out before adhering it to the card. Lastly, some Dazzling Details to add some sparkle!

These cute little cards can be stepped up or simplified in many ways.
It's hard to believe they are only 3x3"!!!

Thanks for checking my shares out, have a super day :)
