Elegant Work of Art

Hi there... it's Friday! I don't get too excited, since I still have the weekend to work - but I will have some time this afternoon to play with some of my new toys and the prospect of that makes me happy :)

Today's card features the 'Work of Art' stamp set once again... it's not so obvious, but I used it on the butterflies! I used the zigzag stamp in an ombre effect using Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry and Hello Honey. I punched 3 Elegant Butterflies out, added a Basic Pearl to the center, which was coloured with Daffodil Delight Blendabilites markers. I popped each butterfly up on a dimensional onto a 'Label Bracket Punch', which was carried forward from the holiday catalogue - so yay! I cut a piece of Basic Black, layered it onto a piece of Crushed Curry. I used some gold 'Watercolour Wonder Washi Tape' instead of ribbon or twine. I stamped the sentiment from the 'Six-sided sampler' set, I used White Stazon ink... then I traced over it with a White Signo Gel Pen to make it appear as though I wrote it.
