I have to admit that I this set didn't scream out to me... You have to have me! But, I got the chance to test drive it the other night at a recent stamping get-together at my upline's house. She chose this stamp set as part of her pre-order (did you know that demonstrator's can order supplies earlier than everyone else?!) It's only one of the great perks of being a demonstrator!! I must say that after getting to try this stamp set out, I must have it!! It has traveled onto to my wishlist for my next order - so I'm sure you'll see more creations with this set in the future.
Well, I enjoy making fun and interesting cards with Mr. Hexagon Punch! It's no secret that I have a bit of a crush... okay, I'm completely in LOVE with him (Is it weird that I'm talking like it's a person?! Maybe a little, but I'm a bit weird anyways.... no, not weird, interesting and unique sounds better!) Some people don't understand my obsession but take a look at what HE can create!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this sort of puzzle-look cards. I used all of the images from the set 'Traveler'. It features a suitcase, passport, globe, camera, ship and train - the images have a sort of sketched look to them, and produce very nice, crisp stamped images. I used Basic Grey, Smoky Slate and Whisper White - the images look the best in black ink, and what goes better with black than grey and white?!
I stamped and fussy cut out a single camera image, just because I felt it was lacking something. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the brand-new Hostess set, Bloom with Hope - and I will have it next week when my first order of NEW goodies arrive!! Oh, and some Whisper White Baker's Twine... one of my staples in card making is Baker's Twine!!
