Stacked with Love & hello

Hello crafty people! Before I head off to work, I've got a simple but bold card to share! I really wanted to use that large ampersand paper from the 'Stacked with Love' designer series paper stack from the NEW Occasions Catalogue. It's quite large so it takes up a good portion of the card front... that is if you use the standard 5-3/4" X 4-1/4" card front size. I trimmed it down a bit and cut a bunch of layers in bright colours to give some POP. 

 

 

I had some diecuts left over from a previous project and had this "hello" from the Hello You Thinlits Dies cut from Pacific Point cardstock, so I decided to use Pacific Point. I had a piece of Strawberry Slush handy so I added that too - they add a nice infusion of colour to an otherwise neutral paper.

 

 

Since the ampersand is so BIG, I didn't add too much. I wrapped some Baker's Twine and tied a bow through a basic metal button and added some confetti stars.
