Sheltering Tree... You warm my heart

I made this card several weeks ago, right in the midst of a snowstorm and as I am making my post today the sun is shining brightly... and hopefully melting some of the many mounds of snow outside? One can hope, I'm so ready for spring! I woke up to hear the birds outside chirping and singing... they want spring too. Well, enough about that onto my share...

I am totally obsessed with the Sheltering Tree stamp set, it makes it so easy make pretty cards in not too much time. I went rather simple for this card. I stamped with Early Espresso Classic Ink once, twice and the last time was stamped off once before stamping to the card.

To make the look of snow, I used Smoky Slate and Soft Sky stamping on and off to get a nice dimension. Then added some snowflakes falling in the same colours. I made a banner for the sentiment you warm my heart popped up on dimensionals so it's sort of bowed a bit. I added a few hearts using the Border Hearts Punch and Real Red Cardstock - it adds a nice punch of colour to the wintery look of this card. I hope you like it :)
