Finally a somewhat nice day we had yesterday... today seems to be the same. I think I'm going to get some fresh air before I head off to work! It finally felts like spring is in the air. I actually had the car window down and didn't have wear a coat.... ah, it was so nice! Well, weather pleasantries aside...
My card for today is no stranger to my blog, it's quite the regular here - can you guess which set it is? It's the Indescribable Gift set. I continually seem to be drawn to it - the blossoms are so stunningly beautiful and remind me that spring is right around the corner. I've had a bunch of different ideas using this set - when I have time to sit and "play" to see if my ideas can be put onto paper! This one worked out better than I'd expected it too!
I am pleased with how it turned out - I used the Apothecary Accents framelits dies to make the background Basic Black die cut. Stamped, embossed and fussy cut out the blossom stem. Then added some colour with sponges - no markers!
To add a bit of sparkle, I added a bit of Gold Glitz Dazzling Details to the center of the open blossoms. The sentiment is a combination - stamping, embossing and cutting around the words to make my sentiment on my card. I hope you like it and enjoy the sunshine today :)
